Let Him Cook: Ja Morant’s ‘Let Me Be Ja’ Air Force 1 Goes Public

Ja Morant has been on an absolute tear with his own signature line, but now he’s stepping onto hallowed ground – the Air Force 1. The upcoming ‘Let Me Be Ja’ takes a Player Exclusive from earlier this year and finally puts it in the hands of the public, complete with all the sauce that the name suggests.

The upper's leather is drenched in a blinding shade of yellow, the kind of colour you can spot from half a court away. Stitched along the medial side is the blunt proclamation – ‘LET ME BE JA’ – a message that doubles as both personal mantra and media clapback. The Swooshes are playful too: a miniature black check rides the medial, while the lateral flaunts a stacked double hit in black and yellow.

Look closer and the details get louder. Rainbow contrast stitching pops across the panels, silver ‘1 of 1’ lace dubraes sit up front, and Morant’s logo is stamped proudly on the heel. Black leather tongue and heel tabs add balance, while his recurring ‘12:AM’ graphic sneaks onto the back – a nod to his late-night grind.

With a $125 price tag and a Holiday 2025 release date, the ‘Let Me Be Ja’ pushes Morant deeper into Nike folklore. Of course, plenty of legends have reworked the Force before, but this one comes with the raw energy of a player still writing his story in real time.
