It's Back! The Air Max Penny 1 Drops in June
It’s been a while, but Penny Hardaway’s OG sneaker is back! The is set to return in a colourway inspired by Lil Penny, a pint-sized Penny puppet who appeared in Nike ads during the 90s.
Vivid 'Deep Royal' and 'Gym Red' shades highlight the upper, harking back to the ‘Pros’ uniform Lil Penny wore during a dream sequence in one of the classic Nike ads. The ‘Pros’ team is highlighted on the heel, as is the number ‘1/2’, referencing the puppet’s pint-sized stature. A crisp white midsole is offset with a bright red Swoosh.
