It’s Official! The Air Jordan 1 ‘Shadow 2.0’ Is on the Way
The sneakersphere can sometimes move at lightspeed, with leaks, teasers, official pics and release dates all surfacing within weeks of each other. But, that’s not the case for latest creation. Dubbed the ‘Shadow 2.0’, it’s pretty easy to surmise that this colourway is within the ‘Shadow’ family tree, and actually is a flip on the original fan-favourite ‘Shadow’ combo.
Rumours of this fresh new Air Jordan 1 High started going berserk around the latter half of last year, and beginning months of this year, with a few cheeky leaked on-foots. Finally, Jordan Brand have floated word and official images across confirming the release.
The ‘Shadow 2.0’ boasts a black leather base with ‘Light Smoke Grey’ suede overlays. The difference between the original and this updated version is that the OG rocked a grey toe box with black surrounding it. The 2.0 also has nubuck overlays, which we feel is a nice touch.
According to Nike SNKRS, the Air Jordan 1 ‘Shadow 2.0’ will be releasing at select retailers such as in men’s and grade school sizes on May 15. We’ll keep you updated with a Where to Buy guide closer to the time.
