It’s Official! The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 ‘Sail’
If you’ve had your ear to the streets over the past few months, there’s no doubt that you’ve heard the rumours flying around about the soon-to-release x in ‘Sail’. We got the first look at second AJ5 for the year via the man himself , we then received unofficial images, and now we’re happy to update you that have officially confirmed the drop!
Helping to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary Air Jordan 5, which originally released in 1990, Off-White have subtly paid homage to the OG ‘Fire Red’ colourway while putting their own twist on the silhouette. Oozing that vintage, pre-worn aesthetic, Off-White have composed this iteration in mostly ‘Sail’, while almost-translucent uppers have been added, plus see-through circles scattered throughout. They have also opted for a pre-yellowed look on the midsole and side panels, with a 3M reflective tongue completing the vibe.
Alongside the official images, Jordan Brand have also provided us with a release date. You can expect to see the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 ‘Sail’ to arrive at select retailers on October 24 in full family sizing for $225 each.
