It's Lit! Official Images of the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 'Baroque Brown' and 'Saturn Gold'
Release: 16 December 2021

It's lit! Travis Scott and Nike's five-shoe pack of Air Max 1s have had La Flame's loyal legions of 'ragers' buzzing since their debut earlier in the year, and now with Scott's Astroworld festival right around the corner, two colourways – 'Baroque Brown' and 'Saturn Gold' – have received full sets of official images as well as release dates. Part of a new 'CACT.US CORP' initiative, both styles channel the earthy-yet-vivid colour schemes and technical nature of old-school Nike ACG gear, specifically the original Pocket Knife sneaker with details like drawstring lace systems and custom overlays. All the while, they also retain the signature Cactus Jack branding and motifs that make Scott's colabs so recognisable.

First to step up to the plate is the 'Baroque Brown', a mixture of brown, wheat and tan tones that add a signature dash of flair with bright red rope laces and overlay detailing. It's definitely the louder pair of the duo and offers a workwear-like aesthetic.

Next is the 'Saturn Gold,' a mostly tonal style that makes heavy use of an earthy gold hue. Touches of teal, brown and slate grey add dashes of flair.

Both shoes also feature Scott's backward Swoosh on the midfoot, rubberised tongue badges and pennant-like heel hits. Midsoles supply an interesting pop of flair as well, making the Air Max 1's signature heel unit opaque instead of its usual transparent build. The tread is altered on each outsole too, with a tire-like pattern surrounding a 'CACT.US CORP' hit.

It appears as if the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 'Baroque Brown' and 'Saturn Gold' will see an exclusive early release via SNKRS Pass during Scott's Astroworld festivities this week and weekend. Regardless of what happens in Houston, they'll both arrive on Nike SNKRS globally come December 16. The MSRP for each pair is set at $160.
