Developed to and give all sneakerheads equal opportunity to cop their grail, LACED is an auction-based platform with a twist. The app runs all auctions on a countdown where users submit bids one at a time. When a bid is entered, the timer resets, but the price of the sneaker then goes up one cent each time a bid is placed. The auction’s winner is determined by the person who bids last when the time expires. The winner is given the chance to purchase the shoe at the discounted price while others who placed a bid are awarded credits to use in the rewards store.
