Invincible and N.Hoolywood Team Up on the New Balance 2002R

Invincible x N.Hoolywood x New Balance 2002
Invincible x N.Hoolywood x New Balance 2002

Following its revival in the form of Salehe Bembury’s burnt orange banger, the New Balance 2002 is getting another collaborative release, this time from Invincible and N.Hoolywood.

The East Asian team have taken on the 2010 silhouette with understated style, tricking out the shoe with nods to previous NB colabs from both brands. Hardy grid mesh on the collar and toe box nod to the Japanese outfit’s 996 from last year, while the nappy suede throws back to Invincible’s 574 from 2018. Elsewhere, co-branded laces celebrate the brands’ union, and an all-over grey wash keeps the Newbie DNA strong. Embroidered NB and 2002R branding on the toe adds the final flourish.

Under foot, the 2002 doubles down on the cushioning, packing the midsole with N-ergy and ABZORB tech for an extra smooth ride.

We’ve talked this release up – for good reason, it’s dope – but of course, there’s a catch. At this stage, the Invincible x N.Hoolywood x New Balance 2002R will release exclusively at Invincible and N.Hoolywood stores and sites. Look for the raffle to open on October 27, and the shoes to drop on October 31.
