Canada's HAVEN and norda Deliver Laceless Hiking Shoe With the 003
United by their passion for mountaineering in rugged Canadian terrain, Vancouver retailer and Montreal footwear brand have combined forces to craft a trail running slip-on.
Founded in 2006, HAVEN draws inspiration from their local climate to design functional and modern clothing. Likewise influenced by their country’s unforgiving topography, norda is a team of lifelong endurance athletes dedicated to crafting the ultimate long distance running shoe. They spent years testing prototypes in all weather conditions, and their efforts resulted in the norda 001 and 002. For their colab with HAVEN, they’ve reimagined their grail as a slip-on that allows : the norda 003.
The 003 expands on its forebearers’ foundations of durability and comfort, with the aim for the wearer to transition smoothly between hiking, scrambling and running. The 003 iteration brings a laceless approach and rests on an exclusive Vibram midsole and soleplate that provide long bouts of traction for ultra marathoners and hikers. The upper’s elasticised Bio-Dyneema build combined with the G+ graphene membrane in the lining provides a comfortable and consistent fit, complete with thermogenic technology primed to withstand all weather conditions.
The HAVEN x norda 003 is a limited edition first release with a $350 price tag. It releases December 1 exclusively via and websites, but will be available from other select retail outlets after the launch.
