Hanon X Diadora V7000 (Tuscan Racer)
UPDATE: It was all the way back in October of 2016 that Hanon's 'Tuscan Racer' Diadora collaboration released through the Scottish retailer. Finally and somewhat more fittingly (given its summer-suited colourway and construction), the cycling-themed V7000 has been released to the world.

Retailer has teamed up with sneaker brand to tell a tale of Italian manufacturing. The ‘Tuscan Racer’ has been modelled on an iconic road bike look, with its ‘Celeste’ green and white panels reminding any cycling fan of the Bianchi frames that have ruled the track for decades. The iconic colour is said to go all the way back to the end of the World War One, when surplus military paint was mixed to produce a more appealing colour to sell to the public.
The ‘Tuscan Racer’ has been produced in Diadora’s San Di Marco factory from the finest kangaroo leather, pigskin nubuck and big gappy mesh. To finish it all off there’s a hint of 3M, gum sole and dual branding with hanon’s flame logo popping up across the shoes.
