Hanon Reunite with Padmore & Barnes for Limited M387 Willow Sport Colab
are continuing their hot streak of local collaborations by teaming up once again with Ireland’s for a limited edition drop. They’re revisiting the M387 Sport model that they , and while there are similar ideas going on, the execution is all-new.
Aberdeen, Scotland’s Hanon went grey on the Willow last time round, but this new effort leans towards stately suede shades of brown. It may seem like the easy route to take but, as is often the case, brown can go bad when the total package is not executed well. Thankfully, Padmore & Barnes have almost 80 years’ experience in making quality footwear, and Hanon pick some good colours, so this Willow is a winner.
The dark tan mudguard is linked to the hand-stitched vamp and quarters, which are a deeper shade of brown. This is bordered by a full grain tan ankle collar. Leather footbeds paired to Vibram’s clean Christy Morflex ensure a comfortable and long-wearing experience underfoot.
