Hanon Resurrect the EQT Race Walk with ‘Working Men's Club’ Colab
There's been plenty of heater releases coming through from legendary (Equipment) line lately, as the subdivision has been celebrating its 30th anniversary! The flagship series has housed a number of legendary silhouettes and the Three Stripes have made it a priority to bring back some of their older models. Digging deep into the archive, UK-based retailer have resurrected the for its first-ever reissue since its original 1991 release.
The duo have been inspired by 90s-style British Working Men’s Clubs and their timeless décor, injecting their nostalgic feel into the 30-year-old silhouette. The upper of the Race Walk combines rough suede and rich corduroy, opting for a rich brown tonal look with blue and orange contrasting accents. The dual-branded tongue and heel logos exude an era-specific retro feel, while the unique graphic insole radiates 2021 sneaker energy. What piqued our interest though, is the blacked-out midsole with gum outsole – it shouldn’t work, but it does!
Hanon haven't been the only collaborator looking to the past for their EQT collaborations. Inspired by racing suits, got in on the action with an that was limited to just 300 pairs. joined the party last month as well, bringing along a colourful , a hybrid of the original 1991 EQT designs.
