'Bon accord', which is the French translation for 'good agreement', is the official motto of Hanon's hometown. So, when it came time for the Aberdeen-based favourites to drop a follow-up to their 2018 collaboration with Le Coq Sportif, they naturally decided to call the kicks 'The Good Agreement'.
Utilising the R800 as a canvas, the colab is as top-of-the-line as they come and isn't just made in France, but is crafted from English-sourced suedes from the legendary Charles F. Stead & Co., as well as a technical cotton performance fabric from Halley Stevensons of Dundee, Scotland. Joining those materials are microperf pigskin applications alongside plush suede laminate insoles finished with stitched leather overlays. Naturally, dual-branding details figure prominently throughout the indigo and neutral-toned design, while a tricoloured stitch at the tongue symbolises the shoe's French production.
Complete with co-branded packaging, a special hang tag, and four sets of laces, 'The Good Agreement' is set to drop May 4 and is also up for raffle now via Hanon's site.
