HANON and Mizuno Link on a Whisky-Inspired Sky MedalRelease: 20 February 2020
Mizuno have joined forces with their drinking parter HANON to help celebrate the Aberdeen stalwart's 30th anniversary with a whisky-inspired Sky Medal. Baptised 'The Angels Share', it's named after the alcohol that evaporates as whisky ages. Corduroy and pig suede are featured on the upper, with brown and cream making way for the electric blue hits on the branding and collar.
Celebratory touches such as co-branded tongue labels, and insoles, plus the Gaelic phrase describing whisky as 'Uisge Beatha' or 'water of life' elevate this colab to something extra special. Going that extra mile, HANON have decided to reserve a small batch of their Sky Medals to be part of an even more limited drop. These exclusive pairs will be raffled off here, and be presented in a bespoke wooden box with some added goodies such as a premium sneaker cleaning kit.
An in-store release will also be taking place on February 20 between 5:00pm and 8:00pm.
