Last year, Hajime Sorayama and PUMA joined forces to celebrate the footwear brand’s 75th anniversary. Now, the duo have returned with another collaborative effort in honour of the Lunar New Year. This upcoming drop steers away from the Year of the Dragon’s red, green, and gold colour scheme and instead follows Sorayama and PUMA’s metallic silver theme from their first colab.

Featuring two silhouettes, the first pair is a rework of the Palermo, which comes in an all-silver UV photochromic upper with a peach-toned translucent sole. Elsewhere, the Spirex model’s upper is also dressed in the same reflective design complemented by Sorayama’s branding on the overlays. For contrast, the midsole and outsole don a stark white hue. In addition to the two sneakers, apparel will also be available in this range such as matching tracksuits, long-sleeve tops, hoodies, and tees featuring Dragon graphics.

Take a closer look at what to expect above and below. The Sorayama x PUMA ‘Chinese New Year’ collection will be available on February 1 via PUMA’s flagship stores and select retailers.
