Thanks to his dazzling play and an array of special kicks, CBA star Guo Ailun is known as the 'Chinese Allen Iverson' by his legions of fans. Ailun, the first Chinese athlete to get a Jordan Brand sponsorship, has been a member of team Jumpman since 2017, and since then has received a plethora of special sneakers – the latest of which is the Air Jordan 36 'Global Game'.

Inspired by the international nature of the modern-day game, Ailun's Air Jordan 36 boasts a white and jade colour scheme similar to the ones used on his Air Jordan 33, Air Jordan 34 and Air Jordan 35 Low releases. However, Ailun's Air Jordan 36 differentiates itself just enough by adding a bit of Nike's signature 'Volt' shade into the mix as well!

Key details include Ailun's hybrid logo – one that simultaneously represents his first inital and the #6 he wears when representing the Chinese national basketball team – on the heel as well as Chinese characters on the inner half of the tongue and a two-tone Eclipse Plate. Besides the Eclipse Plate, other performance features include a double-stacked Zoom Air Strobel unit and a lightweight jacquard leno-weave upper.

Guo Ailun's Air Jordan 36 'Global Game' is set to release via Nike SNKRS China on February 23, and a global drop may follow in later weeks.
