GmbH and ASICS Reunite for Gloriously Gaudy GEL-Quantum 360 Collaboration
Berlin fashion label GmbH have reunited with for their fourth collaborative sneaker collection. The two parties reprise the model and deliver another distinct duo of colourways and material executions that can only be be described as very ‘GmbH’.
This is because the brand has reprised their seeming penchant for glossy textures, a feature that is boldly displayed in black and gold across these two GEL-Quantum 360s. Upping the very bright appearance of these shoes is the fact the colour-blocking is asymmetrical across opposing sides, with the colours inverted on the panels. This striking look, while not new in the sneaker world, is certainly emphasised by the colour selection and the silhouette. The 360, as its name suggests, is known for its full-length GEL soles, and is attached to a technical layered upper made of synthetic – in GmbH’s case, bright metallic synthetic – and mesh inserts. Given the mismatched look of the collar, it’s even possible to mix and match shoes between the pairs.
The GmBH x ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 will release on March 16 directly from GmbH. A wider drop follows on April 7 at select boutiques globally, which includes Above The Clouds in Australia. ASICS will also carry a small run of pairs.
