Fucking Awesome and adidas Skateboarding Conduct Follow-Up Experiments
Release: 20 February 2021

Following up on their killer collection from late 2020, Jason Dill’s Fucking Awesome label and adidas Skateboarding have gone back to the lab to formulate new iterations of their Experiment 1 and Experiment 2 silhouettes. After a flamboyant introduction, the latest continuation colourways tone things down a touch, delivering classic looks with that distinct FA flair.

Inspired by adidas’ heritage indoor court sneakers, the Experiment 1 is blessed with an off-white layered leather upper and a speed loop system, which is overlaid atop a contrasting blue mesh mid foot for a bit of colour. Down below, the sole looks fast AF with its low-profile design. The FA-branded midsole wears a matching creamy tone, while the outsole opts for the timeless gum construction.

Meanwhile, the latest Experiment 2 completely kick-flips the script on the debut colourway, swapping toxic tones for a clean cream exterior. The classic cupsole skate design is blessed with a lush leather upper, and matching laces. The only pop of colour comes via the subtle FA tongue tag, which features various flags of the world. Completing things in fitting fashion is a milky sole unit.

Dropping alongside co-branded apparel, the latest Fucking Awesome x adidas Skateboarding Experiments hit adidas Skateboarding’s webstore, as well as select stockists like UPS Skate Shop, Fast Times, Lo-Fi Store, and Supply Store, on February 20.
