From the Shadows: The Darkside Initiative x Vans Vault ComfyCush LX Pack
The Darkside Initiative and Vault have teamed up for brooding LX and LX colourways, both packed with the ever-popular ComfyCush sole technology. The new NHL-inspired collaboration references back to the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Philadelphia Flyers 2012 Stanley Cup Playoff series, where Flyers fans coined the slogan ‘Guess what? We don’t like you either!’ in response to jibes from Penguins star Sydney Crosby.
Making use of the Flyers’ team colours, both models feature a shadowy orange and black scheme. The uppers have been equipped with matte steerhide leather with combo tanning, while the midsole goes for light grey as opposed to the tradition white. Adding a distinct branding hit, the infamous slogan is embroidered on the heel in orange.
