Fresh Look: The Air Jordan 1 'No Ls' Pokes Fun at Hype Culture
Not feelin’ the modern sneaker scene? Now you can wear that resentment on your feet with the latest Air Jordan 1 ‘No Ls’. Alternatively, if you’re a hype fiend, you can wear these ironically — cause that’s what the kids do nowadays, right?
In these latest shots via restockchicago and hanzuying, we get an up-close look at the light-hearted Jay in ‘Sail’, black and ‘Varsity Maize’ — a colourway that’s sure to appeal to the masses. The pair features ‘No Photos’ across the heels, ‘Wear Me’ on the tongues, ‘Please Crease’ on the toe box, ‘Sorry, This Pair Is Not Numbered’ on the left-side liner, and the right-side gets a ‘General Release’ stamp. A Virgil-esque ‘Not For Resale’ stamp has been placed on the midsole, while ‘No Ls’ insoles round things out.
There’s rumours a ‘University Red’ pair will join this ‘Varsity Maize’ release, but Jordan Brand are yet to confirm any details.
Expect a release sometime in December. We’ll keep you posted.
