We are only just hitting the halfway point of 2025 and already sneakersphere insiders are letting the 2026 rumour mill churn at an unprecedented pace. We already have multiple and poised to land throughout next year, building anticipation to the max. One of those rumoured is a FREE THE YOUTH collaboration with on the somewhat lesser-known .
With all the leaks and rumours emerging, it seems 2026 will be the year Jordan Brand dip their toes into some of their less popular models. Already, the is poised to make a big comeback, this time with a twist, and it seems the same with its younger AJ16 cousin.
Founded in 2013, FREE THE YOUTH is a Ghanian imprint, led by Jonathan Coffie, Winfred Mensah, Richard Ormano and Kelly Foli. Themselves and Jordan Brand have obviously not commented on a collaboration this early, but and are confident that the colourblocking will match the mockup below they’ve created. While the Air Jordan 16 isn’t the most hyped out of the Michael Jordan’s signature line, we’re expecting the FREE THE YOUTH touches will dominate drop calendars next year.
