First Look: Packer Shoes And Solebox Colab On Two BOOSTs
Recent leaks show adidas are still making waves in the BOOST game, with two ocean-inspired sneakers set to wash up on our shores before the year's end. The release will be the latest offering from adidas Consortium, an initiative that pairs up retailers from opposite ends of the globe to colab on two silhouettes from the Three Stripes' lineup. This time around, New Jersey's Packer Shoes and Berlin's Solebox take on the UltraBOOST Mid and the Energy BOOST.
The retailers' remixing of the UltraBOOST Mid sports a black Primeknit upper that fades into a grey, sock-like collar. Aqua accents and a wavy fine-line design on the pull strap and tongue nod to the colab's oceanic theme. Packer and Solebox's Energy BOOST takes on a more obviously nautical aesthetic, with geographical coordinates printed on its translucent support cage. The aqua upper fades into grey hues around the mid-sole and toebox.
Both shoes are equipped with a BOOST sole, making them look like they're floating on sea foam.
If you're keen to find these underwater treasures, they'll be launching at select retailers in November. We'll keep you updated with the release information as we learn more.
