First Look: Nike Air Max Flair 50
The original Flair, though new, felt familiar to Nike enthusiasts, with its Pippen-esque Air branding across the front quarter and full-foot Air unit reminiscent of AM97s. The Flair 50 similarly dips into the Swoosh’s back catalogue, albeit taking cues from a different decade. It is impossible to miss the Air Max 1 mudguard that curves around the toe, and even the foam midsole and heel bubble are giving us ’87 vibes.
Standout elements are carried over to the new version, the sock fit and asymmetrical lacing keep the shoe’s DNA intact. And the ‘Air’ script remains, it’s just been moved to the heel. A mini Swoosh on the roll toe ensures that people will know what you're rocking from the front and the back.
No release info on these yet, but we will keep you updated.
