First Look: The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Griffey’
One of the perpetual staples in the Nike Air Max catalogue, the Air Max 90 continues to deliver incredible results for the Swoosh year after year. Recently whetting our appetites all over again with the Air Max 90 ‘Bacon’ (inspired by the original Dave’s Quality Meats collaboration) and other sizzling in-line renditions, the AM90 is about to get a baseball-themed ‘Griffey’ rendition that pays homage to the legendary baseballer, and recent Hall of Fame inductee, ‘The Kid’ Ken Griffey Jr. And it is part of a Ken Griffey Jr. collection that will also featuring an Air Max 1.
Manufactured with plenty of baseball-oriented aesthetics, the AM90 is notably stamped with a baseball cap graphic and the number 24 on the tongues and insoles. Eye-catching baseball stitching arrives on the collars, while black Swooshes outlined in red appear on the toes and side panels.
Look for the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Griffey’ to land sometime over the coming weeks at Nike.
