First Look: McDonald’s-Like Nike Dunk Low Appears Online

The Nike Dunk is having another seismic year in 2021, the hoops classic from the 1980s a favourite among the sneaker industry’s most prominent collaborators.

AMBUSH, UNDERCOVER and Off-White have all jumped on the rollicking Dunk bandwagon of late, with Virgil Abloh releasing his first ‘Lot 1’ colourway of 50 just this week.

There’s also been plenty to get excited about with Nike’s in-line Dunk colourways, a spooky Halloween Grail and ‘Seoul’ colourways heating up our release calendars.

The latest colourway to spark online chatter is the Nike Dunk Low dubbed ‘Varsity Salmon’ by sneaker leaker teddyssole. Looking like a Dunk you could pick-up from the Golden Arches (McDonald’s) drive-through, this release is emblazoned by metallic gold Swooshes. Red leather overlays provide depth to the clean white canvas, while yellow rubber outsoles look almost like French Fries.
