Closer Look: The Dover Street Market x Nike Dunk Low
Founded by Comme des Garçons Rei Kawakubo and her husband Adrian Joffe, Dover Street Market continue to be one of the more vaunted labels in fashion.
Stocking a huge collection of streetwear and high fashion labels across their several stores, Dover Street Market have also stayed active on the collaborative front, recently linking up with Vans for a DSM exclusive pack, and adidas last year for a minimalist Stan Smith.
Now, Dover Street Market are turning their attention to a silhouette unapologetically owning the zeitgeist right now: the Nike Dunk Low.
Manufactured with soft, velour-like material, the Dunk is rendered in a crisp, monochromatic tone emblematic of Dover Street’s minimalist aesthetic. Somewhat materially-similar to the StrangeLove Dunks that blew-up last year, the DSM version features other goodies including a mini Swoosh embroidered on the forefoot, and co-branded insoles.
We don’t currently have any release details, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
