First Look: Cowboy Bebop x BAIT x adidas Consortium Matchplay
One of the most legendary Japanese animes of all time, Shinichirō Watanabe’s sexy, star-hopping Cowboy Bebop series continues to remain popular today, the space western even scheduled for an upcoming live-action film.
Now, everybody’s favourite bounty hunters are set to break into the sneaker industry, teaming up with Eric Cheng’s and for the . Worn by the late great tennis player Arthur Ashe, the Matchplay is manufactured in super smooth black leather uppers, with a blast of neon yellow and green branding on the tongues – featuring the trio of collaborators. The heel tabs follow suit in red and blue, while the heel counter is emblazoned in Cowboy Bebop text in both English and Japanese.
The collaboration will also arrive with both neon green and yellow laces for customisation. Down below, a classic black vulcanised sole completes the look.
