Fine Artist Joshua Vides Teases New Balance Colab
Fine artist and designer has taken to his Instagram to tease a forthcoming colab with . Though it's hard to tell exactly what silhouette Vides has collaborated on (his post only shows the shoe's midfoot) its large N logo and eyestay pattern indicate that it may well be a . Vides also revealed the shoe's box in a prior post, and it features a crate-like wood print plus special 'painted' details.
Known for his hand-painted, thickly-lined black and white objects and installations that seem to bring two-dimensional drawings and sketches into the third dimension, Vides' art has often stepped into the sneaker world. He first gained notoriety for his hand-painted , wound up making shoes for and , and collaborated with on the twice: once for a , the other time to accompany his art installation at .
Vides' Instagram post was simply captioned '11.5.21.,' so it seems that his shoe will either release on November 5 or we'll simply be able to see it in full. Either way, keep it locked here for more info and updates as they're made available!
