Filling Pieces Hit the Court With New Basketball Capsule Collection
are entering the basketball market — kind of! The design team behind the fashion-focused footwear label have reflected on their youth to create two new silhouettes inspired by the basketball sneakers of days gone by.
The Lay up Icey 2 Flow is the standout of the collection. It's a design that combines familiar elements from early 90s silhouettes with a focus on luxury. Constructed from supple premium leather, the shoes are buttery soft right out of the box — guaranteed to mould to your feet on the first wear. Nine colourways have been produced, split between modern monochromatic make-ups and heritage tributes.
Rounding out the collection is the Alley Oop High Icey, which features a cross-strap design reminiscent of sneakers like Nike's Air Raid and the Air Jordan 8. Three tonal make-ups have been created, each crafted from premium nubuck.
