Fear of God Athletics Get Down to Earth with 'Clay' adidas 1 BASKETBALL

The 2023-2024 Fear of God Athletics x adidas collection first dropped in December last year, with the 1 BASKETBALL featuring in ‘Cream/White’ and two ‘Carbon’ colourways with murdered-out uppers and one with a ‘Sesame’ toe. The design is now getting a ‘Clay’ edition, with a creamy upper complemented with a herringbone outsole. There’s a slash of black on the lace toggle, but the majority of the design remains monochromatic.

Inspired by the adidas Predator football boot, the 1 BASKETBALL is sculpted with a low profile silhouette and a translucent rubber outsole. The upper consists of a premium knit with a neoprene collar and no-sew TPU film overlays, giving the shoe a futuristic, neo-noir veneer. Comfortable performance is provided by a Lightstrike midsole, while the ankle bungee with toggle ensures a snug fit for hooping. The adi branding comes in on a Three Stripes moulded cage, with FOG branding featuring on an embossed black bar on the heel.

The Fear of God x adidas 1 BASKETBALL ‘Clay’ is expected to release on March 3, 2024 via Fear of God and adidas. It’s a general release drop, meaning it will be widely available, and there’s also hints of more colourways to come. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for more.
