The Next Erik Ellington x Li-Ning Signature Shoe is Dropping Soon

You may remember last year, skate legend and OG Erik Ellington linked up with Li-Ning for a signature shoe dubbed EEPR01, it debuted on a pop-up website and subsequently sold out!

Ellington is well known within the sneakersphere, having served a residency at Supra as the co-founder and rider plus tapping higher-end LA-based brand Human Recreation Services. Flying across the pond, the next venture for the man himself and Li-Ning will be another shoe, this one called SUN-RISE, and it's the definition of a high-performance skate shoe.

Looking to classic skate shoes for inspiration, Li-Ning and Ellington have elevated it by using modernised materials and plenty of tech such as the brand’s BOOM midsole and reflective yarn laces. The colourway has also been inspired by a sunrise, with black mesh and synthetic fabrics covering most of the upper with a purple, orange and pink gradient sole unit.
