Streetwear stalwarts Stüssy are once again flexing their collaborative might with the Swoosh, the x ‘Black’ scheduled to land today, after the ‘Fossil Stone’ design landed on December 11.
Manufactured with durable hemp, the visual hierarchy of the AF-1 is largely established by its textural depth. Stüssy’s interlocking ‘S’ is embroidered at the toe boxes, while a hefty, embroidered Swoosh builds the sneaker’s idiosyncrasy.
Co-branding on the tongues (a redesigned World Tour logo) and heels reinforce the partnership between the two colossal brands, while a sleek metal veneer extends the luxurious palette on the heels. Foam midsoles, Air cushioning system, and rubber outsoles complete the design.
