Following their , and are linking up to forage for more as another collaborative is on the way, this time inspired by porcini mushrooms.
The orange and brown colourway takes from the porcini mushroom, which is harvested this time of year in Europe and North America. Known for its meaty and earthy flavour, the gourmet mushroom is often used in Italian and French cuisine.
In true Salomon form, the XT-6 features a rugged upper to keep feet dry from the elements, and shades of brown and cream are used on the TPU film overlay. Salomon branding is found on the XT-6’s traditional locations on the lateral heel and tongue strip as co-branding is seen on the porcini-patterned insole. Cream appears again on the midsole and the shank plate comes in brown. Lastly, a rugged and lugged brown outsole finishes off the sneaker.
