aren’t stopping with collaborations in 2020, as their latest multi-brand cooperative effort sees an upcoming reworked with luxurious ‘Pearl’ inspirations. There’s an added level of symbolism here, too: pearls are traditionally given as a 30th anniversary gift – and guess what’s celebrating that milestone? Yep, the GL3!
The last time END. and ASICS worked together was on 2018’s spicy edition, and some of those elements have been reprised here. But it’s not a simple palette swap. Instead, the lush suede construction returns, featuring rich shades of ‘Lavender’ purple across the toe box, mudguard, and heel counter. While a lighter shade covers the mid panel, joining up to ‘Ivory’ beige leather split-tongues.
END. have dialled back the perforations for this colab, only using them between the Tiger Stripe branding and leaving the other panels unpierced. Other details are classic ASICS touches, including the contrast pink toe bumper ‘windows’, stripe lining, and reflective heel hit. Custom-branded aglets attached to rope laces, matching heel embroidery, ice soles, and pink sheened insoles complete this classy colab. And, of course, they come in a complementary shoebox like many of the previous END. efforts.
