Eggplant Looks Excellent on the Nike Air Max Plus 2
Eggplant sure does look excellent on the , with official images emerging of a new colourway that’s highlighted by a light green to ‘Eggplant’ fade. We first got word of the AMP2 resurgence earlier this month, and now the new colourways are starting to trickle in, including a neat rendition in that was spotted earlier this week.
This ‘Eggplant’ is predominantly a greenish type of grey, before light green hits those signature side panels and gradually becomes ‘Eggplant’ towards the back of the shoe, where it’s then joined by similarly hued details that are delivered in a chrome kind of finish. A white midsole in the forefoot completes the overall aesthetic.
Arriving as the sequel to 1998’s cult classic , the Air Max Plus 2 had a short initial run in the year 2000, but never quite drew the same attention as its – save for a dedicated bunch of committed Air Max fiends.
The Nike Air Max Plus 2 ‘Eggplant’ is expected to hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists quite soon, so get ready for when these are ripe for the picking.
