Edson Sabajo Teases Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Monarch’

Patta continue to link-up with Nike for some of the most sought-after Air Max 1 collaborations in the game, the Dutch streetwear and sneaker boutique solidifying their place in the sneaker Hall of Fame with renditions like the Air Max 1 ‘Cherrywood’ and ‘Purple Denim’.

We now have a closer look at the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Monarch’, Patta’s Edson Sabajo glimpsed at the Sneakerness convention in his latest colourway. Hot on the heels of Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Noise Aqua’ leaks, the latest palette again extends the vernacular of 1994’s Air Max 2, the wild wave-cut mudguard, nubuck, leather and mesh construction emblazoned with a mini Swoosh at the toe.

Patta are certainly building the hype for their upcoming colab, the Amsterdam-based label recently teasing an upcoming film directed by Mahaneela entitled The Wave (featuring the likes of Little Simz, Martine Rose and Mo Farah).

Look for the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 to release during Fall 2021 at select retailers and Nike. The retail price tag is set at $160.
