Edison Chen Reveals Release Date for Another CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle

CLOT founder Edison Chen recently took to Instagram to post an on-foot snap of a new Nike LDWaffle collaboration via his streetwear brand and sacai, who’ve been behind the model since its inception. This colourway was previously seen in an official announcement post, but this IRL shot is the best look yet ahead of its upcoming release.

Like the other recently released CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle, this edition is a material play, opting for translucent mesh inserts across the upper. Unlike other sacai LDWaffles, this version uses welded panels and Swooshes instead of the more traditional stitched variety. It’s not immediately obvious due to the low-key grey, navy and white colourway that is jazzed up with some light green hits on the tongue and heel.

Other subtle details include the speckled slab on the top half of the LDWaffle’s double stacked midsole, and a triple-stamped heel logo with CLOT’s circular image overlaid onto the hybrid Nike-sacai typeface. Gum rubber outsoles are a nice finish, as are the tonal double lace options.

According to Chen, the next CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle will release on October 7 – which just happens to be his birthday.
