Official Look at the Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 High Golf ‘1961’
The game of golf has boomed over the past few years and with that, so have a few golf brands, one of which is Eastside Golf. Founded in 2019 by Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper, the brand has already had a few collaborations under their belt. It looks like more is on the way, as a second colab on the is dropping in the near future.
The collaborative sneaker looks to be a part of the ‘1961’ collection, which is the year that the PGA Tour abolished discrimination based on colour. Taking on the colour blocking of iconic colourways such as the ‘Bred’ and ‘Royal’, black waterproof leather makes up the upper as 'Malachite' green is seen on the toebox, ankle collar and Swoosh. The Swoosh also features Eastside Golf’s script logo throughout and ‘CHANGE.’ and ‘1961’ are debossed on the lateral heels of the left and right sneaker respectively. Eastside Golf’s logo is seen on the left tongue tag as the Jumpman appears on the right, and the Wings logo accents the ankle collar in metallic gold. A 'Sail' midsole and a teethy 'Malachite' green outsole finishes off the sneaker.
