Reebok and the Eames Office have been collaborating since 2021, taking the creative legacy of Charles and Ray Eames and bringing it to classic Reebok silhouettes. The partnership has come to an end, with the Vector and Eames now announcing their third and final collaborative collection. Their last hurray will feature the Reebok Classic Nylon, Instapump Fury, and two colourways of the Beatnik, dropping later this month. Each sneaker in the collection takes inspiration from different designs, patterns, and buildings from the creative minds of Charles and Ray Eames.

The Eames x Reebok Classic Nylon (MSRP $130) uses a white nylon upper with grey and slate blue suede overlays, giving off a fairly neutral and clean look. The side window uses Eames branding in the designer’s distinctive hues as Charles and Ray are known for their mastery of colour. More Eames branding is seen on the insole and tongue tag, as a custom box and five additional laces come with the limited edition sneaker.

The Reebok Instapump Fury is ahead of its time when it was released in 1994, and the Steve Smith-designed sneaker still feels the same way in 2023. Continuing the futuristic theme, the collaborative Eames x Reebok Instapump Fury (MSRP $200) takes inspiration from the IBM Pavilion from the World’s Fair in 1964, which the Charles and Ray helped design. Eames branding repeats and surrounds the sneaker in a similar fashion to the IBM branding on the egg-like structure. The grey sneaker features cream accenting, with the Eames logo stamped on the pump bladder and heel.

Lastly, dropping in two unisex colourways, brown and multicolour, the Eames x Reebok Beatnik (MSRP $130) uses the Eames Crosspatch pattern throughout. Eames branding is subtly embossed on the forefoot buckle as a custom outsole pays homage to the Eames’ attention to detail and craftsmanship.

The Fall/Winter 2023 Eames x Reebok collection is set to drop on December 11, 2023, via Reebok’s channels and at select retailers. Check out the photos above and hit the links below to purchase!
