Dwayne Wade has a new sneaker on the way and it’s giving off heavy vibes. Part of the brand’s New York Fashion Week offering, the sneaker features exposed panels and stitching, and bears midsole lettering similar to production samples.
Images of the new model come after their arrived looking a lot like a . Different copyright laws in China make it hard for stateside brands to claim IP infringements (hence the in Wenzhou), which means brands like Li-Ning can take liberties with design. Still, as with Wave Runner, it’s hard to tell if this is a direct bite or just a sign that Virgil’s popular designs are becoming the new norm.
