After it debuted in 1999, Beaverton are finally bringing back the cult-favourite Nike Air Tuned Max.

Composed in its original Dark Charcoal, Celery, and Saturn Red’ combo, the OG colourway was later tapped for Skepta’s Air Max 97 collaboration in 2017, the London rapper and record producer a high-profile fan of the Air Tuned Max.

Originally conceived within Nike’s clandestine Alpha Project (the team that also brought you the Nike Air Presto), the Air Tuned Max is built with iridescent panels, moulded Foamposite on the heels, full-length Tuned Air cushioning, and tasty celery green accents on the heel.

A classic from the Nike vault, hopefully we can see some more colourways of the legendary silhouette over the coming months.

Look for the Nike Air Tuned Max ‘Dark Charcoal’ to release on April 3. The retail price is locked at $170.
