Drop Details: Kevin Durant’s Air Presto-Inspired Nike KD 14

Thankfully, Durant’s also making news with his fourteenth signature shoe, the KD 14 being the first time we’ve seen a strap since the .
‘It’s been a while since we incorporated the strap, which excites me,’ says Durant. ‘My other favourite part about the shoe is the cushioning, which helps me feel low to the ground and still helps give me some of that energy back.’
Inspired by the iconic Nike Air Presto, the KD 14 boasts an eye-catching medial cage and thin, elongated Swoosh, a homage to the original Bruin model.
Constantly applying creative skins to his signature silhouettes, the KD 14 is manufactured with an engineered mesh upper that provides the perfect canvas for unique graphics to be applied and layered – Durant’s favourite motifs usually involve art and music.
With a full-length Zoom Air strobel cushioning system (first introduced in the ), the KD 14 is sure to give your jump shot plenty of elevation.
The Nike KD 14 officially launched on April 10 in the ‘Cyber’ and Black/White colourway exclusively in Greater China. A US release date for the Black/White is locked in for April 14. The retail price is $150.
