The Drake NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra is Finally Releasing
long anticipated NOCTA x will finally release to the public after what has been a very drawn out teaser process. As soon as the musician dropped a quick last week, the floodgates have opened with official sales info and details. The wait has been worth it, as the retail release is barely two weeks away.
While sneaker sleuths have figured this out months ago, this design is indeed based off an archival trail model known as the Air Terra Humara from circa 1999. Its Air-soled midsole tooling has been retained, and so has the G-Tek outsole traction system – quite on-brand considering the ongoing GORPcore trend. This lifestyle play is updated with premium leather and reflective trim on an original upper pattern, and is finished with chrome branding hits.
The NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra will initially release in all-white and all-black colourways on March 3 from NOCTA’s web store, plus select Nike retailers. However, it’s always possible there are more editions on the way, as Drake has teased other pairs here and there. This marks the first signature sneaker from the official collaborative line between the musician and the Swoosh.
