Despite its prevalence in the mainstream market, the adidas Samba continues to attract the in-the-know cool crowd for collaborations, and the latest is with Dover Street Market.

Owned and operated by Japanese high-fashion heavyweights Comme des Garçons, DSM is a multi-brand boutique with locations in plenty of major metropolises around the globe. They’re also no stranger to crafting colabs, working with a plethora of sneaker brands to add their signature light tough. The latest is with adidas and sees the Samba dressed in an ultra-luxe suede and nubuck build, with leather Three Stripes and DSM tongue branding.

If you’re reading this and aren’t located in Los Angeles, then you may have already missed out. DSM’s Samba launched unexpectedly as part of the Felix Art Fair, which ended on March 3. While there was a surprise drop that took place, word on the street hints that a second colourway could be arriving in white, with both experiencing a wider release soon.

Dover Street Market and adidas are yet to confirm anything as of yet, but stay locked to Sneaker Freaker to keep updated.
