Don’t Sleep on the Vans Sk8-Hi ‘Freddy Krueger’

Halloween is right around the corner, and there’s no shortage of ghoulish Grails to sink your teeth (and toes) into this year.

From the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Mummy’ to the Air Force 1 ‘Purple Skeleton’, the sneaker industry is again loading our release calendars with piles of spine-tingling heat.

The latest Halloween-inspired sneaker to hit the headlines is the Vans Sk8-Hi ‘Freddy Krueger’, the blood-thirsty silhouette belonging to Vans’ larger ‘Horror’ collection. Manufactured to resemble Freddy Krueger’s skin-crawling red and green sweater from 1984’s A Nightmare on Elm Street, the Vans Sk8-Hi will also join a Vans Era paying homage to Stephen King’s IT, and a Friday the 13th Slip-On.

Freddy Krueger colourways have of course been an indomitable force in the sneaker-sphere for a number of years, the legendary Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Freddy Krueger’ joining more modern classics like last year’s Air Max 95.

Look for the Vans Sk8-Hi ‘Freddy Krueger’ to pervade your dreams next month.
