Dolce & Gabbana's Sorrento is Heavy on NMD Vibes
When Dolce & Gabbana shared their Sorrento sneaker in February, many were quick to note its similarity to adidas’ NMD. We’ll never know whether they happened on the idea themselves or whether releases like Pharrell’s Chanel Hu NMD proved there was a market streetwear/high-fashion crossovers. Hell, maybe D&G subscribe to the philosophy of Kanye West: ‘It’s not where you take things from. It’s where you take them to.'
