Release Date: District Vision x New Balance FuelCell RC Elite v2
are linking up with Los Angeles-based inner peace collective District Vision for a new project spotlighting both mindfulness and performance technology. Utilising the FuelCell RC Elite v2, the duo of clean colourways again opt for a knit upper construction, paired with carbon fiber plates and FuelCell cushioning midsoles.
Coming in two monochrome renditions of black and white, the model has of course been around for quite some time, the high-tech running sneaker initially debuting in May 2021. An upgrade of the FuelCell RC2 Elite, the silhouette was conceptualised by the Sports Research Lab and a group of professional athletes. Notably, the sneaker is the Boston brand’s highest rebound midsole compound (compliments of the ACL foam), with a full-length carbon fibre plate installed for maximised energy. Down below, rubber outsoles provide lightweight traction and durability.
The District Vision x New Balance FuelCell RC Elite v2 is available now from District Vision, and a wider NB drop will land on March 24. The retail price is $229.
