Montreal’s skate spot Dime has linked up with Reebok once again, rekindling their partnership with two colourways of the BB4000 silhouette. The latest collaboration follows up the Kamikaze II Lows from 2020, delivering a more skate-friendly option in a court-inspired look.

Speaking about the partnership, Dime’s Phil Lavoie and Vincent Tsang had this to say: ‘Tapping into Reebok’s fitness heritage and classic silhouettes was ideal for a brand like ours rooted in skateboarding. The design aesthetics of the BB4000 lend themselves well to functional skateboarding footwear. This seemed like a natural evolution after our inaugural Reebok basketball campaign.’

Coming through in White/Navy and Brown/Black, both colourways make use of quality leather uppers complemented with skate-functional suede. Additionally, the Dime ‘Restoration’ woven tongue label graphic nods to the world-famous painting and viral subject known as ‘Ecce Homo’.

‘As the story goes, in 2012, an amateur painter in Borja, Spain botched an attempt at restoring a beloved century-old fresco of Jesus (named ‘Ecce Homo’) displayed at the historic community church. News of the inadvertent defacing spread quickly across the global web as the artwork-turned-viral-video-sensation became a tourist attraction bringing visitors to Borja from around the world.’

The Dime x Reebok BB4000s are set to release exclusively at Dime on February 6, before receiving a wider global release on February 12 at select retailers and Reebok.com. The retail price tag is set at $110.
