LaMelo Ball Experiments With the Dexter's Laboratory x PUMA MB.03

LaMelo Ball loves Saturday morning cartoons, and PUMA love turning them into MB colourways. Last year’s Rick and Morty MB.01 instantly became a collector’s item and were so hot they immediately scored a sequel. And this year’s offerings from PUMA Hoops and LaMelo have delivered drop after drop of vibrant designs, from the LaFrancé to the 'Toxic'. Now, LaMelo and PUMA have dipped his third signature silhouette with 90s nostalgia, tooling the sculpture with a Cartoon Network classic for the Dexter’s Laboratory x MB.03.

Built upon PUMA’s signature NITROFOAM to supercharge hop steps to the rim, this iteration of the MB.03 is a chemical mixture of performance technology and hypnotising flare. Stability and propulsion are achieved with a full coverage engineered nonslip rubber compound in the sole unit. Meanwhile the upper is bonded with breathable monomesh, boosting support for ankle-breaking moves against opponents while anchoring your feet with lightweight flexibility. The exterior is an explosion from Dexter’s Laboratory brought to life, featuring a technicoloured big bang and optical illusion motif. Details from the cartoon stamp the tongue, with beakers and chemistry equipment on the outside and Dexter and his sister Dee Dee on the inside. The sci-fi space theme is also represented in a speckled galactic black and blue motif on the midsole.

The sneaker will be released alongside an eleven-piece PUMA apparel collection which includes Dexter’s Laboratory and Cartoon Network inspired graphic tees, hoodie, shorts, and a dime jacket with matching pants.

The Dexter’s Laboratory x MB.03 and the accompanying clothing range releases December 22 via PUMA and select retail outlets.
