Darius Bazley Debuts the New Balance 992 ‘Gap Year’

New Balance look to continue their strong momentum this year after a colossal 2020.

Paying homage to New Balance athlete Darius Bazley and his gap year as a New Balance intern, the New Balance 992 ‘Gap Year’ upgrades the classic silhouette from 1992. Designed in collaboration with Bazley, the New Balance 992 is composed in a mix of eye-catching yellow, orange and blue. Built with suede, mesh and leather, the design features classic silver ‘N’ branding, a two-tone midsole, and a vintage black outsole.

Of course featuring the classic ABZORB technology underneath, the ‘Gap Year’ colourway also features Bazley’s initials emblazoned on the tongue, while the lateral heels spotlight his jersey number (7).
