Take A Ride in the Cub Cadet Ultimas – the Ultimate Lawn Mowing Sneaker
Move over, Monarchs – Cub Cadet have created the ultimate lawn mowing sneaker known as the Ultimas. Named after the company’s top-end range of ride-on mowers, the grass-munching kicks are fitted with all sorts of to maximise horticultural prowess.
Lead designer Omar Bailey – best known in the industry as the former Head of Innovation Lab at – has ensured the Ultimas are fit for the job. The faux-carbon-fibre weave upper and chunky black sole will prevent the unsightly green grass stains that typical lawn mowing beaters are afflicted with. This material combination is also water resistant, meaning morning dew is no match for the Ultimas. Other practical additions include a toggle lace system for no-knot security and a fun light-up tongue. However, the most useful feature of these shoes is the protruding yellow heel frame – directly inspired by the rear framework of the Cub Cadet Ultima mower – for hands-free dismounting.
‘Cub Cadet prides itself with more than 60 years of engineering excellence and constantly seeks new, innovative ways to enhance the lawn mowing experience for our users. And despite playing such an important role in the process, footwear is usually an afterthought,’ said Erin Floto, brand manager at Cub Cadet. ‘We are helping to revolutionise the way we care for our lawns with the introduction of Ultimas by turning those worn-out, grass-stained pairs of shoes into another lawn care must-have that our Cub Cadet customers can show pride in.’
Raffles to purchase the limited edition Ultimas for $1 are open now on the NTWRK app and will be drawn on June 22 at 4:00 PM ET.
